10202 Injection molded parts direct packaging

Injection moulded parts packed directly on the machine! We are realising a fully automatic parts removal and packaging system for a customer in the plastics industry. A nimble articulated arm robot removes the parts directly from the injection moulding machine via side entry. This minimises the mould opening time. It then places the parts on a conveyor belt. A second robot stacks the parts in the transport containers, which are automatically reloaded. This achieves a high degree of autonomy and automation with a minimal footprint. Communication with the SGM takes place via standard interfaces.
