We are already able to place the second robot system on an injection moulding machine for this customer in a clean room. The task is relatively simple: remove the part from the injection moulding machine and place it on the buffer belt. With Universal Robots, injection moulding processes with relatively long mould closing times can be solved very elegantly, inexpensively and, above all, in a space-saving manner. The space requirement of a normal robot cell is approx. 4m x 2m as shown in the picture below. With our solution, only 0.4x2m is required, i.e. only the floor plan of the buffer belt. The existing production area is therefore optimally utilised.
